Privacy
What this site collects, why, and how to get rid of it.
What we collect
- What you type: the profile URL, country, city, category and any words you attach to a payment. All of it is published publicly — that is the point of the board.
- Payment: handled by our payment provider. We store only the amount, the time, and a reference id. We never receive your card number.
- Billing address: collected at checkout because tax and fraud rules require it. It is held for accounting only, is never published, and has nothing to do with the country or city shown on your listing — those are the ones you chose for ranking.
- Clicks: we count how many times each listing is clicked. We count the click, not the person.
- Cookies: three, all first-party, none for advertising —
tb-cc(which country board to show you first),tb-uid(a random id so one browser cannot vote twice on a comment),tb-theme(light or dark).
What we do not do
- No IP geolocation. Your country is worked out from the timezone your own browser reports, in your browser.
- No advertising trackers, no analytics pixels, no data sold or shared with advertisers.
- No accounts, no passwords, no email address unless you write to us.
Other people's data
- A listing contains a real person's public profile and may attract public comments about them. If you list someone, you are responsible for having the right to do so.
- If a listing is about you and you did not consent, write to us and we will remove it — along with the comments attached to it. You do not have to explain yourself and you do not have to pay.
Your rights
- Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.
- To exercise any of these, use the contact below.
To be completed before launch: the data controller's name and address, a working privacy contact
address, how long records are kept, and the legal basis for each purpose.
